Brooklyn Decker

Brooklyn Decker is one of the many renowned models, locally and internationally, of the American fashion industry. She was born on August 3, 1987 in Kettering, Ohio and was named, quite surprisingly, after a horse.

Her parents are both in the medical field, her mother is a nurse and her father works with pacemakers.  Both are totally supportive of Brooklyn’s choice of career even if her career is something as heart stopping as modeling in a bikini.

During Decker’s childhood, her family moved to Ohio and spent a year in Middletown and later on moved again to North Carolina when she was a teenager. Little did Brooklyn know that North Carolina was going to open doors for her into the modeling world, Brooklyn Decker was discovered while shopping in a mall in Charlotte.

Her first modeling stint was for Mauri Simone – a designer house famous for tailoring and creating prom dresses and formal wear. Decker was awarded the Model of the Year Award in 2003 at the Connections Model and Talent Convention which prompted several other opportunities for her. Her face began to appear everywhere—on popular pro magazines and on national periodicals.
